A range of hand embroidered and applique panels and quilts from different community development projects throughout India. Each piece reflects the skill of the artisans and regional design traditions.

We also have a range of embroidered silk panels that are equally suited for wearing as a shawl or using as a throw or a table runner.

Wall hangings add warmth and richness to a room and also help to insulate sound. There are many occaisions when a wall hanging may add more to a room than a painting or a print.

Art Panel Embroidery

THis piece was hand embroidered in silk thread using traditional Rabari embroidery stitches. These panels are made for sale by village women to raise money for the education of their children. The sale of a single panel will provide for a child's education for one year.

Embroideries of this kind also ensure the survival of the fine embroidery traditions of Kutch.

The border is made of silk and the epanel has a pole sleeve for display
