    Pashtun cushion cover from the Swat Valley, Pakistan. Hand stitched silk on cotton ground fabric. This beautiful fine embroidery is counted thread embroidery leading to fine geometric designs. The rich colours of the embroidry threads are highlighted by the lustre of the silk.
