All our textiles are handmade. This means that there will be variations and deviations from the samples shown on this site that are a characteristic of a unique work of art.
Ordering and payment
All prices shown on our website are in Australian dollars and are exclusive of GST (goods and services tax).
Payment can be made during the checkout process using:

Direct transfer to our bank account

Postage and handling
Free shipping for all orders over $1000 within Australia. A maximum shipping charge of $25 applies to all orders within Australia. (excluding framed textiles) We use Australia Post for our shipping.
Optional Insurance will be an additional charge.
A shipping surcharge will be added to the cost of all large framed textiles.
Fabric of Life will contact you via email after you place your order to confirm shipping charges with you prior to sending the item.

As qualified textile conservators we know how to carefully pack your goods for shipping. However, should your items arrive to you damaged please contact us immediately.
We understand that you may receive an item that doesn’t meet your expectations for any number of reasons.
We will accept all items for return for any reason and provide a full refund provided that the items are returned within 14 days, unused and undamaged. Please contact us to advise that you will be returning the goods so we know they are on their way and we can confirm their receipt.
Please note that refunds to credit cards can only be made to the card account that made the original purchase.
